The Vine Services

The Vine holds weekly church services on Sundays at 4pm at Te Totara Primary School Hall, Hector Drive, Rototuna, Hamilton.

Our services take different forms each week because we're 'doing church' in a fresh, new way - so, it's not the same ole', same ole' every time.

A 'Fresh Expression of Church' - what's that mean?

The Vine’s vision is ‘to connect people to Jesus, through a fresh expression of church.’

This fresh expression of church is at the heart of everything we do. Some people think of ‘church’ as a place you go on a Sunday morning for an hour - you sit in a pew, listen to a sermon and sing a few hymns . . . For many people, their experience of ‘church’ has been a bit stale, dry, uninspiring and certainly not fun!

This fresh expression of church extends to our Sunday Community Services. The format from start to finish – we guarantee – is fun and unlike a lot of other traditional church services.

By committing to this ‘fresh’ expression of church, we want to help people Make the Connection - that means building a relationship with Jesus, their neighbours and the wider community.
