Graft Groups

At the heart of The Vine are our many home groups that meet throughout North Hamilton. Our home groups are called Graft Groups – we desire to be ‘grafted’ (connected) to each other and to Jesus, because without Him we can’t reach our full potential in this life . . . and don't have any hope for eternal life after death.

As a Christian organisation operating in Rototuna, Hamilton, The Vine wants to help people Make the Connection Jesus, who once said:

“I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you're joined with me - and I with you - the relationship intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant.

“Separated, you can’t produce a thing.”

Graft Groups are a safe, fun way to learn about Jesus and the Bible, ask questions, test your beliefs and enjoy stimulating discussions about the things that matter most in your life.

The Vine Graft Groups are also an excellent way to build relationships with your Rototuna neighbours.

Here are the Graft Groups currently running:

In-depth Bible Study - Led by Ross and Karyn Woodhouse. Meets the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 7:30pm in members' homes. Appropriate for adults and older teenagers. No childcare provided.

Biblical Perspectives on Topical Issues - Led by Nancy Sahlie and Bob Gutsell. Meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7:15pm in members' homes. Appropriate for adults and older teenagers. No childcare provided.

Women's Discipleship Group - Led by Sarah Vaz and team. Meets Monday mornings during school term time, at The Vine Resource Centre at 9.15am for a 9.30 start. Babysitting provided. Call The Vine Resource Centre for info: 07 855 0375.

Women's Group - Book club and discussion group. Co-led by Arihia Stainton and Angie Davidson. Meets Friday mornings during term time at 9.15am. Phone Ari for details 07 855 4552.
