The theme for this year's conference is 'A Sociology of Beauty and Joy', reflecting the need, amidst the present situation of 'polycrisis', to bring to the fore the dimensions of beauty and joy present in the social world, as modes of resistance and ways forward. The conference takes place this year at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington.
