New report on gender bias in English and Welsh family courts

UK-based Right to Equality has published Scratching the Surface: Evidence of Victim-Blaming in Family Courts (2026). Published as part of Right to Equality’s Breaking Bias: Building Justice project, the report examined 91 family court judgements from across England and Wales to determine the prevalence and nature of victim-blaming language within these courts. New online safety resource for public-facing online figures

Tāhono and Anchordown have released the Safety Planning Toolkit. This toolkit unpacks the growing issue of online harm aimed at individuals and organisation who maintain an online or public-facing presence, offering advice and resources to stay safe and prepared. This toolkit exists alongside Tāhono and Amnesty International’s #NoHarmware campaign, which pushes for regulatory reform that would shift the onus of user safety onto the online platforms themselves.

This Is Prevention campaign showcases primary prevention in Australia

Our Watch’s This is Prevention campaign seeks to showcase primary prevention work taking place across Australia. As part of the campaign, Our Watch have developed a YouTube playlist featuring the work of several Primary Prevention organisations and practitioners.

New UNICEF report on children’s climate risk

UNICEF has published Children’s Climate Risk Report 2026. The report provides a comprehensive picture of the threat the climate crisis poses to children. The report examines:

  • children’s exposure to climate-related hazards, including exposure to multiple overlapping hazards
  • children’s vulnerability in relation to social systems and services, including education, social protections and child protection services
  • children’s climate risk based on hazard exposure and vulnerability.
