Auckland regional hui on family and sexual violence prevention hosted by Auckland Council and Ministry of Social Development: Findings
This was the first time the family and sexual violence sectors have come together at a regional level. It developed as a result of people from the sectors expressing interest in Auckland Council developing a strategy to address family and sexual violence in the region. Auckland Council contracted the New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse to prepare this report. An independent Māori consultant was engaged to ensure accurate representation of Māori views. The purpose of the report is to accurately report the views expressed by participants at the hui.
