This training webinar is aimed at helping anyone working with children and young people who may be victims or survivors of sexual exploitation to recognise and respond to this issue. The training will cover:
- what in-person and digital sexual exploitation of children looks like in Aotearoa
- key concepts and definitions
- risk factors and what to look for
- barriers to disclosure and identification
- how sexual exploitation affects tamariki and rangatahi
- trauma informed practice
- the current legislative framework
