The International Network of Indigenous Health, Knowledge and Development (INIHKD) is a shared waters alliance spanning Aotearoa, Australia, Canada, Hawai‘i, and the USA, and now extending into the Pacific. One of its key initiatives is convening Indigenous scholars, researchers, practitioners, creatives, and community leaders from around the world to engage in strengths-based, partnership-driven approaches to issues impacting Indigenous communities globally.

The conference is accepting abstract submissions until 30 April 2026.
This gathering, led by the Indigenous Wellness Research Institute, will elevate Indigenous voices and leadership to address critical health and well-being issues through three interconnected sub-themes: Indigenous Health and Healing; Environmental and Ecological Systems; Advanced Technologies and AI. The gathering will also include presentation on cross-cutting themes, such as language reclamation, justice, creative practice and others.
