About the event

For more information and to register, see the event page.

Join Maude Champagne (Canada) and Lee Tempest (New Zealand) for a live international webinar exploring child-to-parent violence and abuse (CPVA), known in Canada as aggression toward family/caregivers in childhood and adolescence (AFCCA), and its impact on families.

Bringing together perspectives from both countries, this conversation will explore current initiatives, emerging practices, and approaches to supporting families. We will touch on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), how support can be adapted for families of children with brain-based disabilities, and the use of Non-violent Resistance (NVR), alongside practices and experiences from New Zealand.

For caregivers and professionals alike, this is an opportunity to learn from each other, share perspectives, and explore ways to strengthen safety, connection, and support for families.
