Create space for pilots and evaluations of community-led interventions will be the final instalment of ANROWS' webinar series unpacking the ways of working and ways of knowing set out in The Australian National Research Agenda to End Violence against Women and Children (ANRA) 2023–2028.
Community-led research means that the research is undertaken by people who identify as being part of the population that researchers want to understand.
Community members and/or organisations are involved in the whole research process, from setting the research question(s) to data collection, analysis and monitoring.
In this webinar, panellists will:
- Highlight the benefits and challenges of community-led research and evaluations
- Discuss power imbalances in research and the importance of enabling communities to shape the research that reflects them
- Discuss the significance of having community-based organisations and researchers to lead and inform the interventions and research
- Explore case studies that are examples of good practice
- The panel discussion will be followed with a live Q&A. You can also submit questions ahead of time when you register.
This webinar will have live captions and will be recorded and uploaded to the ANROWS website and YouTube channel.
