In this session Michael Seto (PhD) will provide an overview of key research and clinical findings about men who commit child sexual exploitation material (CSEM) offenses including the factors associated with the likelihood they will sexually offend again, such as escalation to contact sexual offenses. He will also briefly review the development and validation of the Child Pornography Offender Risk Tool (CPORT) and the recent revisions leading to the CPORT-R. Implications for risk assessment and management will be discussed.
